SUMMARY

As the FirstLight Home Care National Accounts Manager, you are a key player in the Strategy Department. In this position, you will manage the ongoing growth and accelerated development of national account relationships at both the regional and national levels to grow the FirstLight Home Care brand across the network. You will collaborate with leadership to further enhance the accessibility of account relationships for the franchise system and elevates franchisee understanding, and recognition of opportunities to leverage business growth. As the National Accounts Manager, you will develop, foster, and enhance working relationships with account partners, build continual credibility and confidence through mutual communication, and support franchisees and account relationships as it relates to increasing franchise revenue sourced from accounts and the mutual benefits afforded to account partners.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Essential job duties for this position include the following items. Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.

  • Oversee the coordination of regular communication with current accounts to strengthen relationships and maintain business growth; provide updated information, fulfill information requests, and conduct quality assurance calls.
  • Identify prospective national account leads by researching organizations, following leads from existing franchise owners and or accounts partners, attending trade shows and conferences; and assisting in weekly tracking of new account leads for pipeline criteria and pursuit.
  • Manage compilation of credentialing materials process to include new and ongoing account relationships with agreement, pricing, rates, insurance, and pre-qualifying requirements for each franchise owner.
  • Navigate and manage internal system infrastructure in addition to sales and project management software utilized intra- and inter- departmentally to establish and define department goals, tasks, and projects.
  • Conduct sales analysis to monitor and track account gains and losses; initiate communication with account partners to collaborate on key influencers of metric changes and develop action plans, if necessary; distribute and inform internal support and leadership team members as applicable.
  • Contribute to continual training, coaching and overall expertise of franchisees as it relates to leveraging national accounts and partnerships to drive revenue and performance results. Create content for internal system communication as it relates to the National Accounts department.
  • Coordinate introductory and subsequent relationship management meetings with new and existing national account partners to nurture the continued growth of the partnership and discuss contractual maintenance items such as credentialing process changes and/or identified areas of opportunity.
  • Support and collaborate with the FirstLight Home Care Support Center Team on tasks, responsibilities, and special projects involving National Account functions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent years of college course work completion in business, communication, or related area of study; a minimum of three-years related experience in a regional or national relationship development, national account development, or other business development; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Verbal and written communication skills to be effective in all environments
  • Interpersonal communication, negotiation, relationship building and fostering capabilities
  • Time management and organization capabilities enabling accomplishment of multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to meet challenges and work independently to exceed business goals and grow the business through others
  • Ability to de-escalate situations as necessary and manage conflict
  • Preferred Qualification: Understanding of third party payers in the healthcare industry such as Medicaid, Veterans Affair, Workers Comp and Long Term Care Insurance
  • Preferred Qualification: Previous account management experience in a healthcare industry setting
