Sr. Compliance Analyst – NERC CIP

Fully remote (Baltimore, MD)

Brooksource is looking for a Sr. Compliance Analyst to join the NERC CIP team at one of our largest Fortune 100 energy clients. This remote opportunity supports our client as they rebound from an enterprise-wide divestiture. The Sr. Compliance Analyst will help orchestrate the alignment of the Generation Business, Real-Time NERC CIP Security services, and Operation & Procedure areas to build out a new NERC CIP Program. Minimum Qualifications:

  • NERC CIP background & experience
  • Advanced knowledge of IT components for infrastructure in an enterprise environment
  • Ability to understand, digest and interpret network diagrams and associated IT assets to meet NERC CIP requirements
  • Ability to collaborate, lead, and develop documentation associated with project requirements
  • Experience in Energy or Government Sector
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related fields of study

Nice-To-Have:

  • QA, audit, risk, legal or compliance analysis experience
  • Program build-out experience (divestiture or merger is a plus)
  • CAPM, PMP, or other technical certifications/specialties

Job Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyze incoming CIP standards and integrate into existing program.
  • Develop, maintain, and update NERC CIP training programs.
  • Work with Project Managers on NERC CIP self-assessment audit requirements.
  • Perform compliance activities including control testing, leading self-assessments, interfacing with internal and external auditors.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of risk assessments, test plans, testing spreadsheets, and reports.
  • Lead the support of compliance data in internal systems like ServiceNow and/or Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC).
  • Write reports, business correspondence and policy/procedural materials.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • NERC-CIP: 3 years (Preferred)
