Job Description
Cognosante is seeking to fill ‘Network Administrator’ positions for the Department of Defense to support an Enterprise-wide IT contract for the US Army military intelligence community. The candidate will serve as a Network Administrator for the Army’s military intelligence NIPRnet, SIPRnet, and JWICS IT infrastructure at their specific duty location.

The candidate will serve as a Network Administrator for the Army’s military intelligence NIPRnet, SIPRnet, and JWICS IT infrastructure at their specific duty location.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for management, administration, and maintenance of Army client local & wide-area networks. Evaluates, develops and maintains telecommunications systems.
- Manages network performance and maintains network security. Ensures security procedures are implemented and enforced.
- Installs software and troubleshoots network problems.
- Establishes and implements network policies, procedures and standards and ensures compliance with DISA, NETCOM, and Army information systems governance.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- DoD IAT Level III Certification in one of the following: CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, CCSP.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field.
- 5 years of experience in Network Engineering, Network Administration, or Database Administration.
- Communication skills to effectively interface with military officials and managers.
Candidates that do not meet the required qualifications will not be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a technology-related field
- Over 5 years of experience in Network Engineering, Network Administration, or Database Administration
Compensation
$91,207.00 - $145,930.00
The pay range for this job is determined by various factors, including but not necessarily limited to location, responsibilities of the job, and alignment with market data. When determining a salary for this role, the following factors may will be taken into consideration - contract-specific affordability, education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience. The estimate displayed represents the salary range for this position and is just one component of Cognosante’s total compensation package for employees and is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, nor a promise of any specific pay for any specific employee.
