Overview

KeyLogic is currently searching for a Network Field Technician to support one of our Department of Energy contracts in the Albuquerque, NM area.

Currently, this position is onsite in Albuquerque. The selected candidate must be able to reliably commute or be open to relocating to the Albuquerque area. If offered the position, a government background investigation would be required for a security clearance. Since this position falls under the Department of Energy, the clearance does require exclusive US Citizenship (i.e., no dual citizenship).

The mission is to deliver secure, consistent, and capable network and virtual services to ensure faster realization of business value to the client and its customers. This organization is responsible for providing secure, consistent, and highly available network infrastructures and virtual services to meet corporate and mission IT needs. Virtual Services will enable people to work with confidence in a secure computing environment. This support includes network and virtual services development, design, implementation, testing, trouble resolution, network monitoring tools, and maintenance contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide Network Field Support Services:
• Review incoming IT Service Desk requests and resolve customer requirement issues
• Coordinate with Network Advanced Field Operations Team as needed to support activation of device ports

Qualifications

• Experience Virtualization, Access Points
• WAN, LAN, Wireless (Aruba)
• Juniper
• Cisco
• Brocade
• Cable Installation, Information Technology
• TC IP
• Windows Server or Active Directory
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• AA with 3 years’ experience or 6 years’ job related experience.

Desired skills:

• Knowledge with ITSM
• ITIL Certified
• GPON

Pay: $20.18 - $26.84 per hour
