This is an opportunity to join the rapidly growing Intel New Mexico team as a Semiconductor as a Process Wafer Test Engineer. The opportunity to create new solutions to high volume wafer level test generation and adaptation to a high rate of new testing as needed for EMIB and foundry level rate of change. You will be able to develop strong relationships with your upstream and downstream customers to facilitate your work.

In this role, you would provide end-to-end testing solutions with the opportunity to partner with equipment suppliers to select equipment for testing capability improvements or new capabilities and work with external and internal customers to improve business process performance.

You would utilize your coding skills to write software that functions at any level of the software chain from code that executes tests on testers to the end product of data in a database. I.e. create new test algorithms, new data, and control file management automation and conversion methods for user inputs to the final factory-ready test code.

Hybrid work accommodations are available for this position. Please note that for the first 6 months' time will be spent on-site training and learning the people, process, and equipment.

Qualifications


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math, or a relevant STEM field with 6+ years of Process Engineering experience, at least 2 of those years of experience in common semiconductor devices such as CMOS transistors, diodes, capacitors, etc. as applied to testing methods and understanding testing goals.
  • 2+ years' experience with semiconductor test equipment, in particular parametric testers for high-volume testing.
  • 2+ years' experience programming and debugging data processing algorithms with main languages being Excel VBA, Python, C#, and C.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Programming knowledge to develop innovative automation solutions.

Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
