JOB TITLE: Youth Sports Leader – Girls Volleyball

Do you love sports? Are you searching for a way to use your passion, knowledge, interpersonal, and leadership skills to help others? The YMCA is looking to add a Youth Sports Leader to our team in North Georgia. This position will be responsible for the operations of games, practices, and other activities for our upcoming Girls Volleyball season.

Day In The Life of a Volleyball Sports Leader:

• Represents the Y in the club Volleyball program, being attentive to quality and detail.
• Communicates with sports program staff, program participants, and volunteers to ensure accurate game records are kept and that play starts and ends on time.
• Assists in the collection of registration fees for programs.
• Helps maintain program supplies/equipment as needed.
• Prepares fields/surfaces for play.
• Attends staff meetings and training as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

What's required:

• Minimum education: High School Diploma/GED.
• Possess basic knowledge of sports programs.
• Minimum age of 18.
• Understand the fundamentals of Volleyball.
• Certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Sufficient strength, agility, and mobility to perform essential functions and supervise program activities in a wide variety of indoor and outdoor locations.

Ability to walk, stand, sit, kneel, stoop and lift.
