The purpose of this position is to provide 24/7 oversight of efficient operations to meet the holistic needs of the patients and families served. Demonstrates high-level leadership accountability in assuring staff competency, financial responsibility, and enhancing Kaweah Health's mission and vision to achieve strategic priorities.

Required:
• CA RN license
• BLS
• Kaweah Health approved crisis intervention training within 60 days of hire/transfer.

This position covers our Clinical Decision Unit

2 South is a fast-paced hybrid unit of both observation patients and medical-surgical inpatients. We work as an extension of the Emergency Room to further investigate the issues that brought the patient in to be seen. This unit uses detailed assessments to quickly determine the next step in the patient's care. The types of patients range from chest pain to complex wound care, and from respiratory system issues to neurological. Our skilled care team works cohesively and puts our patients and each other as priority each and every shift.
