Position Summary

Experienced RN to provide comprehensive, patient-focused, individualized assistance to patients, families, and caregivers to help overcome healthcare system barriers. The Nurse Navigator will provide education and resources to facilitate informed decision making and timely access to quality healthcare and department related services.

Minimum Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Current North Carolina nursing license.
  • 3-5 years clinical experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Organized, can multi-task, analytical, time management.
  • Work well under stress and be able to provide emotional support.
  • EPIC experience preferred.
  • The candidate must possess excellent verbal and written skills, strong organizational skills, strong leadership and interpersonal skills. The candidate must work well in teams and autonomously. Basic working knowledge of managed care, insurance coverage, and departmental procedures, but can be taught on the job.

  • Full time, benefit eligible
  • Position works onsite at the Orthopedics Clinic
  • Hours are Monday-Friday 8a-5p
