St. Michael Medical Center is looking for an RN to join our team in our hospital in Silverdale! This 500,000 Square-foot hospital will be the most energy-efficient hospital in Washington and will provide an extraordinary healing environment for our patients with beautiful views of the Olympic Mountains and Dyes Inlet. In addition, the entire campus has been developed with the well-being of our team in mind with dedicated respite areas and generous break areas (see the views!) along with the Clear Creek trail running through the hospital grounds, encouraging walks and connection with the community. Responsibilities
The new St. Michael’s critical care units utilize GE monitors and have brand new hillrom beds. Many of our rooms have ceiling lifts. Our teams are supported by respiratory therapy, physical and occupational therapy, pharmacy on the units, case management on the units, and a team of engaged physicians. Up to $20,000.00 Sign On Bonus for qualifying new, external RNs.
- Bonus amount prorated by FTE (min .6 FTE required)
- 1 year of experience required
- Lump sum payment within 30 days of start date
- 2 year commitment

Job Summary
This 32 bed telemetry monitored unit houses PCU level of care with some medical/telemetry overflow as well. This is our primary stroke unit that also manages respiratory and cardiac patients. This unit is staffed at a 1:3-4 patient ratio consistent with national standards of care.
Essential Duties
- Provides continuous cardiac monitoring, arrhythmia recognition and intervention.
- Initiates and titrates multiple, complex cardiac related infusions at higher doses.
- Manages intubated/mechanically ventilated patients.
- Manages patients with acute neurological/neurosurgical events.
- Manages acute trauma patients.
Qualifications
Job Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.
- Previous PCU or ICU experience preferred.
- Previous Emergency room experience also considered
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or attainment within six months of hire.
- CCRN/Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) preferred.
