J. Edward Staffing is recruiting a Nurse Practitioner to join a wellness facility located in East Longmeadow, MA area.
Type: Full-time, contract 13 weeks with the possibility of extension
Salary: $145,000 - $166,000
Shift: 8 am- 4:30pm, 8-Hours,
Details:
Adult Nurse Practitioner to staff Employee Wellness Center. The Wellness Center will be open Mon-Fri 8 am- 4:30pm, no nights/weekends/holidays.
Job Description: Adult Nurse Practitioner will provide accurate assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of illness / injury for employees. Treatment of conditions will include diagnosing, educating, counseling, and prescribing medications as clinically needed. Must be proficient at independently ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing.
Daily responsibilities also include:
- Delivery of vaccines and vaccine education
- Blood draws
- Use of computer and software programs (EMR)
- Documenting patient information carefully and completely in the EMR (i.e. visit history, referrals, lab follow-up, phone calls, consults)
- Ownership of nonclinical tasks as they arise (e.g., reporting, vaccine temperature management, maintenance of clinic appearance)
- Work closely with the Wellness Services Team to promote wellness resources
- Adapt effectively to business needs
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited NP nursing program
- A minimum of 5 years of related experience providing direct clinical services in an ambulatory care setting
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- A current unrestricted license in Massachusetts as a Nurse Practitioner
- Current Nurse Practitioner Board Certification
- Certification as Adult Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner
- Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License
Requirements
- Current BLS, ACLS (AHA) Provider certification.
- MUST show proof of COVID Vaccination
