Job Responsibilities:

• Provides quality customer service efficiently to residents, families, co-workers and vendors in a manner that ensures satisfaction.
• Offers activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and feeding them if necessary.
• Assists residents with bathing, dressing and personal hygiene.
• Maintains a safe and sanitary environment.
• Maintains log with all vital information.
• Performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Wears safety equipment as required for the job.
• Reports any safety hazards and/or accidents to the supervisor.

Job Skills & Qualifications Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• Successful completion of a nursing assistant program (optional)
• Self-directed with the ability to work with little direct supervision
• Empathy for the needs of the client
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively
