Job description
Description: The Nurse Assistant provides all aspects of personal care to patients in the hospital including bathing, hygiene, nutritional assistance, activities, rehabilitation assistance etc.
Number of Hours: Full-time: 32-40 hours per week. Part-Time: 15-31 hours per week. Casual: 0-15 hours per week
Schedule: Full-Time: 4/5 shifts/week, 2pm or 3pm to 10pm and one Friday night every 6 weeks, plus holiday rotation.
Part-Time: 2 shifts/week, 3pm – 11pm. Every 6th weekend andone Friday night every 6 weeks, plus holiday rotation.
Casual: Every 3rd Sat & Sun, either 7a-3p or 3p-11p with one Friday evening every 6 weeks, plus holiday rotation.
Educational Requirements: He/she must be a Certified Nurse Assistant or be willing to complete the 75-hour Nurse Assistant Course.
Other: The applicant must work well with others; possess good observation skills, and good communication skills. He/she must have a sense of humor, positive attitude, and be flexible.
