Work Schedule :
Inpatient units are rotating 8 and 12 hour shifts. Weekend and holiday rotations required. Shifts available:
- Day/Evening: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, and 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- Evening: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- Day/Night: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, and 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Night: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Pay :
UW Health offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Work experience that is relevant to the position will be taken into consideration when determining the starting base pay.
External hires may be eligible for a $1,800 - $2,250 sign on bonus (pro-rated on FTE)

We are seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to:
- Be a supportive partner with Registered Nurses on General Care, Intermediate Care, ICU and Critical Care units.
- Provide direct physical care and basic nursing procedures and treatments in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. NA’s will assist with activities of daily living, repositioning, transfers, patient mobility, and intentional rounding.
- Interact and engage with visitors, patients, and their family members to establish a trusting relationship to provide high quality care.
Education :
Minimum – Graduate of State of Wisconsin Approved Nursing Assistant program.
Work Experience :
Preferred – One (1) year recent experience as a Nursing Assistant.
Licenses and Certifications :
Minimum – Must be listed on the Wisconsin Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aid Registry, CPR certification required within 3 months of hire.
Preferred – CPR Certification.
