BROAD FUNCTION: To adequately staff Nursing Department for a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility.
PART TIME HOURS STARTING AT 7AM. EVERY OTHER WEEKEND REQUIRED.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assure each shift has the appropriate number of LPN’s and CNA’s per floor
- Change and update Scheduling spreadsheet as needed
- Track Vacation and Paid Time Off (PTO) requests
- Assist with time card accuracy
- Fill vacancies in advance when needed
- Track Absences and Tardies
- Tour the floors and meet with staff in order to fill open vacancies
- Follows the union contract
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to interact with staff
- Flexible with last minute changes
- Be Pro-Active at all times
- Able to multi-task
- Have excellent problem-solving skills
- Must be extremely organized
- Proficient in Micro Soft Office including able to create spreadsheets
- Prior staff scheduling in health care preferred
- Must have Nursing scheduling experience in a 24/7 operation
