Hours: Rotating shift or open to discuss candidates availability

Typical Shifts Hours: 6a - 2:30p (day shift); 12:30p - 9:00p (night shift); every other weekend required

  • Oversees the tray line operations and employees.
  • Ensures temperatures are correct and the tray line is set up.
  • Orients new hires to Nutrition Department in conjunction with Holy Cross Hospital guidelines, including competency, age specific and required educational activities.
  • Administers post-training reviews. Notifies Departmental Manager of scores and retests if necessary.
  • Maintains all department policies, manuals, in-services, meeting minutes and HR files.
  • Responsible for monthly financials and charge-outs; reconciles cash registers.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely phone coverage and patient requests in call centers during key times.
  • Maintains and updates adequate job knowledge to perform job, and exhibits decision-making ability.
  • Assists the Supervisor in any other defined areas of responsibility as required, i.e. technical skills, problem solving, planning/organizing, goal setting, human resource utilization, performance, initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

* Associates Degree preferred, but not required.

* Prior Education & Training experience in hospital or managed care environment.

* Excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and decision-making ability.

* Must have customer service related experience. Demonstrate high level computer knowledge and skills.

* Must have understanding of governmental regulations and understand the responsibilities of the position in relation to The Joint Commission (TJC), HIPAA, OSHA and any other regulations/requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
