Description
Sr. M365 Engineer Responsibilities:
- Responsible for leading the operational preparedness of Cloud/365 products and services.
- This individual will proactively engage with engineering contractor(s) to become adept in newly approved Cloud-based/M365 products and services. Recent examples are: Teams, Stream, Planner, etc.
- This individual will need to lead conversations, ask questions, evaluate data, evaluate deployment steps / cookbooks and become a subject matter expert on whatever product and/or service they are tasked with
- Effectively communicate across internal program teams, some more than others. Examples include: Service Desk and Desk side personnel (for support steps); Platform (for SCCM-based deployments); Security (for Cyber concerns and/or vulnerabilities and patching); Account Maintenance (for various types of user profiles and levels of access)
- Responsiveness to our HHS customer is critical in this role.
- May facilitate daily stand-ups, periodic retrospectives, backlog refinement, and other recurring or ad-hoc team meetings.
- Completes daily/weekly/monthly status reports as well as other contract deliverables as required.
- Develops, organizes, and maintains Power BI dashboard(s)
- Ability to motivate engineers and to clearly define and communicate a team vision
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- 4-year college degree preferred, but not required.
- 7-10+ years of cloud, hands-on M365 application support
- Ability to attain and retain a Public Trust
- Knowledge of MS 365 products and features
- Knowledge of Platform management, including SCCM delivery
- Knowledge of SharePoint, Power BI and other advanced productivity tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving projects
- Excellent writing skills
- Excellent oral communication and presentation skills
- Highly motivated
- Ability to take initiative
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to learn quickly
Target salary range: $100,001 - $125,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
