Public Housing Agency - administering a low income federal housing program.

The Methuen Housing Authority’s Leased Housing Department seeks an Occupancy Specialist who is ambitious, organized, has excellent oral and written communication skills, and can work well with a diverse socioeconomic population. Responsibilities include but are not limited to initial and ongoing program eligibility determinations, rent determinations, lease processing, processing of HAP payments, preparing various reports related to rental assistance and maintaining complete and accurate records of program and participant information in the Authority’s computer system. Work is performed in conformance with applicable regulations, statutes, and housing authority policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Bilingual preferred. 35 hour work week with excellent benefit package.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $46,000.00 - $49,000.00 per year

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
