Front Office Specialist & Patient Care Coordinator:
I'm a Naturopathic Medical Doctor (alternative & functional medicine). I've owned my own practice in San Diego, CA since 2010. Currently, 70% of my practice is virtual and 30% is clinical (in office- when I do quarterly visits to CA). Looking for someone that desires to be with me long-term and wants to grow with the business. My last front office assistant was with me for 6yr. Seeking an assistant that can manage my office and support my patients.

Position:
- Virtual (NO LOUD DISTRACTIONS or SOUNDS AT HOME)
- M-F; 8:30am – 12:30pm PST
- 2+ year experience running a medical, dental or health practitioners’ office
- Interested in a long term position

Tasks:
- Answering phones & returning calls
- Scheduling/Rescheduling patients

- Ordering Labs
- Customer support
- Patient care coordination and follow-up
- Patient outreach
- Email responses (Patient portal and Gmail)
- Answering non-medical questions (office policies, patient support, office or lab pricing, supplement ordering, ect)
- Billing (collecting payment, sending invoices; *we do not bill insurance*)
- Office support (intuiting my needs as you learn the business; tasks to ensure the business is running smoothly)
- Research & development
- Monthly newsletters & importing contacts in Mailchimp
- Social Media posting and engagement (not currently, but we will do)
- Multi-tasking and triaging tasks for a productive work day & flow

- Comfortable selling high priced items for patients benefit
- Confident in accepting money for our services or collecting $ on bills past due
- Comfortable selling our services (as it’s advocating for the patients’ needs)
