JOB TITLE: Office Assistant

REPORTS TO: Principal

HOURS: Part-Time

JOB FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist office staff
• Answer phones and take messages
• Communicate with parents and teachers
• Assist with annual events
• Organize and plan standardized testing
• Light human resources duties
• Light accounting duties
• Greet clients and vendors upon arrival and direct them to appropriate offices
• Answer four-line phone system and direct calls as required
• Design and maintain filing and storage systems in the office
• Maintain office supply inventory
• Retrieve documents and files when requested
• Create, edit, and update spreadsheets
• Assist with managing school website
• Any other duties assigned by Principal.

Qualifications:

• Must possess computer knowledge with expertise in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office 365, and corresponding with email.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Microsoft Office: 1 year (Required)
• Administrative experience: 1 year (Preferred)
