Summary
The Department of Psychology is looking to hire a self-motivated individual to welcome and direct faculty, students and visitors, manage mail and package receiving, and assist with a variety of administrative duties. This position will report to the Administrative Supervisor of our Administrative Team.
Responsibilities*
- Receive, sort, and deliver mail
- Accept and log packages
- Send notifications for package pickup
- Sign packages out when picked up
- Stock copy machines
- Make coffee and restock supplies
- Maintain and order office supplies
- Manage cleaning of departmental kitchenettes and lounges
- Assist with event planning and coordination
- Create and update spreadsheets and other documents
- Provide support to Administrative Team
- Serve as the front desk receptionist as needed
- Take the lead on special projects for the Chief Administrator
- Perform additional duties as assigned

- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
- Excellent customer service skills
- Independence, reliability, and motivation
- Professional, polite and approachable demeanor
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when questions arise
- Strong multitasking and time-management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks

Additional Information
Approximately 25-30 hours per week with flexibility
Pay range: $18-20/hour depending on the selected candidate's experience
Background Screening
