The Office Coordinator will provide general support to the Austin office with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. You will be responsible for mail/package distribution, ordering office supplies, new hire swag mailouts, facilities requests, and planning & facilitating office events.

1099 Contractor – Austin, TX - Anticipated assignment is 3+ months.

The Role. . .

· The Office Coordinator will meet and greet incoming front lobby visitors, ensuring guests are comfortable and directed to the right people

· Monitor and order office supplies, stationery, furniture, appliances, and electronics as directed by a manager

· Organize maintenance companies/vendors to keep the office clean and safe and ensure appliances are in good working order

· Coordinate with building maintenance for repairs or facility maintenance (liaison with building management and maintenance to ensure any issues with our suite are addressed)

· Submit tickets with the building manager for repairs and other office issues

· Monitor and order inventory with our vendors for the break room

· Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, faxes, mail, and packages

· Mail new hire swag bags as per the new hire starter list

· File and organize records, invoices, and other important documentation, as directed

· Order repairs for office equipment and maintenance, connecting with and escorting vendors

· Create visitor name tags for non-employees and guests

The Ideal Candidate. . .

· Come to the office five days a week (M-F) for 4 hours per day during normal business hours

· Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information and work in a professional environment

· 1-3 years of administration experience in a business environment

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Attention to detail is critical to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly

· Organizational skills and the ability to multitask to complete a wide variety of tasks

· Strong people skills to interact positively with all employees and guests

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift

Experience:

  • Microsoft Office: 1 year (Required)
