We are seeking an Office Coordinator for our Moorhead office, to provide support for our medical providers and our clinic manager.
WHAT DOES THIS JOB LOOK LIKE?
The Office Coordinator is a key position in our office. It is the first point of client contact, and sets the tone for a client’s level of comfort with services. The Office Coordinator is responsible to open the office and serves as a “host” for clients, families, and workers from other organizations. The primary objective is to facilitate a warm and professional environment, and to help individuals feel welcomed when calling or coming into the clinic. This position conveys accessibility of services, and provides support for clinical staff to perform their jobs. This position additionally provides general administrative and clerical support to the clinic manager, including generating reports related to the oversight of the clinic, contracts and grants.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Solutions is looking for someone who is kind and responsive, and who treats each contact, whether in person or by phone, as important. We need someone who thrives in a busy professional setting. This position requires excellent organizational and time management skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, good computer skills, including comfort with Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as the skills to manage various electronic platforms such as our electronic client record and personnel record. This position requires the utmost in confidentiality. It also requires cultural competence.
The ideal candidate for this position is someone with experience in healthcare customer service and electronic medical records, someone who is responsive, has natural hospitality skills, is organized, and can roll with changes in a brisk work environment. The individual hired for this position must be at least 18 years of age and pass a criminal background check. They must possess a high school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is preferred.
