Office / HR Assistant

This is an entry level position that will be supporting the Human Resources team & office staff. Job Responsibilities:

· Records employee information such as personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance reviews or evaluations, and termination date and reason, in HRIS

· Processes employment applications and assists in other employment activities. Such as schedule interviews, new hire orientations

· Updates employee files to document personnel actions and to provide information for payroll and other uses, as well as update employee logs in share drive

· Review timecards, makes corrections and communicates with the locations for questions pertaining to edits

· Compiles data from personnel records and prepares VOE requests.

· Verify I9 process and other requirements for new hires

· Compiles and maintains records for use in employee benefits administration.

· Maintains attendance, vacation

· Places orders of office supplies, location PPE’s, company uniforms and maintains inventory tracking

· Ability to go to other LA locations for package: package, mail pick ups

· Uphold Confidentiality and integrity

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Quick learner, detail-oriented
  • Excellent organizational skills, able to multi-task
  • Pro-active attitude, team player
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • PC skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Bilingual a plus – Mandarin or Spanish
  • Previous sales experience and/or produce knowledge preferred.
  • Education: Associates (AAS) degree or Bachelor's (BS/BA) degree preferred but not required

Salary: $17- $22.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8 hours

  • Office administration: 1 years (Preferred but not Required)
