Mod Ref is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Office Assistant to join our growing team. The perfect candidate will be committed to our company standards, carries a positive attitude with a knowledgeable and helpful personality. We value adaptable self-starters with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities and abilities include but not limited to:

• Call and email buyers for order follow ups including customer service, order maintenance, RAs, approvals, sales inquiries, log all customer transactions, etc.
• Daily check of all online portals and emails for all orders and messages from buyers

• Assist sales team with sample coordination, tag all samples with proper barcodes, maintain sold outs/dropped samples
• Identify and assess customer needs efficiently to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction. Problem solve all customer complaints and propose adequate solutions to ensure resolution
• Learn our database system N41 as well as other wholesale/retail e-commerce portals (FashionGo, Faire, Magento, Shopify). Update and maintain the inventory and status of styles on all portals
• Assist with creating campaigns and initiatives to increase sales, assist with producing a system for ongoing campaigns, reach outs, sales calls, etc.
• Assist with photo editing, photo uploads, file naming convention
• Assist with all retail operations as needed including fulfillment of orders, email customers, occasional store visits in Downtown LA and Costa Mesa
• Help all departments with tasks as needed including Wholesale Sales, Retail Sales, Creative and Design teams
• Assist with Retail Sales as needed
• Daily administrative tasks such as organization, filing and ordering supplies when necessary

Our ideal candidate:

• Must have at least 1 year experience within the fashion industry
• Must possess a knowledge and understanding of women's wholesale fashion industry (retail is a plus)
• Detail oriented, organized and has a sense of urgency to complete all tasks and meet all deadlines within a given time

• Willing to travel to all markets/tradeshows including some weekends, shows and boutique visits
• Highly organized, efficient, proactive, communicative, professional and strong attention to detail with great follow up skills
• Positive self-starter attitude and feels there is no task too small and no task too large
• Have excellent communication skills working alongside a collective team

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
