Position/Salary and Benefits: Official Court Reporter, grade 36, $25.47 hourly

Job Duties: Responsibilities involve performing highly difficult work recording and accurately transcribing verbatim testimony at judicial trials, hearings, and conferences.
Required Education and Experience: Graduation from high school, or equivalence including coursework in typing and steno-type operation. Certification as a Certified Shorthand Reporter issued in compliance with applicable Supreme Court rules.
Must possess a Kansas Certified Court Reporter (CCR) certificate or equivalent, or be qualified to apply for the Kansas certificate.
