An award winning Magnet designated hospital is looking for a skilled Nurse Manager of Oncology Services to join their team.
This 300 bed hospital is one of the oldest in the country and has won numerous awards since it has opened it's doors to patient for patient care in the southeast. The Nurse Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements for self and within unit, hiring and training staff, and identifying and resolves issues affecting the delivery of patient care. The Nurse Manager will also need to be able to develop and implement policies and procedures to maximize efficiency of health services in the unit. The Nurse Manager will need to monitor the unit budget while approving and monitoring expenditures, purchases, and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of clinical experience and management/leadership is required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing with experience.
- National certification in area of practice
