Operating Apprentice $18 per hour

This position requires an individual who will perform a variety of tasks related to the safe and efficient application of the technical skills and knowledge to industrial machinery,

What you will do:

• Work with a team to insure the best possible production levels.
• Learn to successfully operate equipment within job classification.
• Clean up at the end of each shift and throughout the day.
• Perform any other assigned duties.
• General Clean Up: Sweeping, picking up and sawing broken and crooked boards, shoveling sawdust

What you need to be successful:

• Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work with others.
  • Willingness to accept greater responsibility.
  • Must be able to work with little or no direct supervision and be able to handle high stress situation.
  • Frequent sitting and standing.
  • Moderate bending, walking, reaching
  • Some squatting
  • Frequent pushing, pulling, twisting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, repetitive movements
  • Occasional crawling
  • Moderate bending, pushing, lifting
  • Working under equipment and walkway
  • Willing to work rotating shifts

Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check
