Job description

Remedy is looking for a Operations Associate at a biomedical company in South Jacksonville!


Pay: $20 - $25 per hour

Shift: 3 to 4 days a week with an opportunity to go temp to hire


Summary

The Operations Associate will provide day-to-day support for various Next Science operational and quality activities.


Minimum Requirements

  • High School diploma required, an associate degree in the science, technology, engineering, and math (stem) field preferred
  • Working knowledge of the MS Office suite and other computer systems, inventory management or MRP system(s) preferred
  • 1-2 years working in a warehouse or medical device manufacturing, preferably in inventory

Job Requirements

  • Inventory management activities:(~10 hours)
  • Transfer of inventory between company, distribution warehouse, and contract manufacturers.
  • Perform and monitor transactions in Material Resources Planning (MRP) systems and ensure data is accurate.
  • Assist Finance with periodic inventory counts.
  • Fulfill and mail samples required for evaluations.
  • Component ordering and inspection:(~3 hours)
  • Place and track orders for components used in Next Science products.
  • Quality Inspection Activities:(~3 hours)
  • Assist with inspection and documentation of inspection of components used in Next Science products.
  • Product Rework Activities:(~15 hours)
  • Assist with preparation of required documentation for rework activities.
  • Work with contract manufacturers to coordinate and/or perform product rework activities.
  • Local travel required to contract manufacturer to drop off supplies and conduct training on rework activities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Some travel to local sites such as contract manufacturer locations to pick up or drop off supplies and/or conduct rework activities
  • Must be able to lift objects up to 50 lbs
