As an Operations Carrier Coordinator as Gateway Logistics, Inc. you will work with carriers to ensure a successful delivery of their product. With our 12-week paid training program, you’ll be able to learn all aspects of logistics and be prepared to successfully talk through loads with carriers. Come grow with us!
What You Will Do:
- Negotiate competitive rates with carriers based off current market rates
- Monitor progress of shipments daily to ensure coverage, on-time performance, and addressing any mid-transit issues
- Collaborate with our customer sales team to find the best transportation option for our customers
- Communicate load statuses, issues, and concerns to Customer Sales Reps
- Follow safety procedures to make sure you are doing business with qualified carriers

Qualifications:
- Industry experience is a plus, but NOT required; we welcome people from all industries
- Willing, self-driven learner
- Deadline oriented
- When necessary, must be willing to work outside of the standard 8AM-5PM Mon-Fri work hours if an issue arises
