Mars is searching for recent graduates for our
Operations Leadership Development Program. This program provides the opportunity to gain knowledge in our Warehouse, Branch, & Logistics Operations to lead to a career in supervision and management as they become available at Mars. This program will also help to develop an individuals’ leadership skills through assessments, cross-functional projects, and mentoring.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete a 2-year rotation to learn all aspects of our Warehouse, Branch, and Logistics Operations.
- Participate in assessments such as DiSC, or Hogan Personality
- Attend skills development and compliance training; including effective communication, coaching, motivating & leading employees, sexual harassment, and diversity training.
- Create an IDP – Individual Development Plan with assigned mentor.
- Meet with mentor at least 1x per quarter to discuss short and long-term objectives, developmental activities, and projects at a
- Lead CI (Continuous Improvement) projects including cross functional.
- Manage a company event, such as a branch counter day.
- Complete assigned NAED product training modules.
- Complete computer training in Eclipse and other Microsoft products.
- Present outcome of completed CI projects to management team.
- Ensure all required activities are completed as assigned and monitor individual learning objectives.

Requirements, Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or Communications preferred.
- Motivated toward career growth and learning.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of employees in company.
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, reach, climb, lift, and move materials up to 50 lbs.
