Onsite Operations Manager: Onsite Operations Manager needed to manage and operate a 36 room Inn located in downtown Solvang, CA. It has been owned by the same owner for 45 years. There is no food or beverage currently served on site, with the exception of specific holidays.

The perfect candidate is friendly, personable and and has experience working in hospitality and has held a management position. This position entails full facility management, including oversight and management of all Inn employees. Must multi-task well, be an expert in guest services and relations, have experience in facility maintanance and management, understand OTAs and the nuances associasted with working with them. A minor accounting background is preferred, as well as, the ability to network with community leaders, business owners and managers. Good writing skills are required and knowledge in using computers, software and performing basic IT functions.

Front Desk Clerk / Night Audit: The Front Desk Clerk position is available as well (full and part time), including an overnight shift (or fill in for the overnight shift). This position is guest facing and requires a very friendly, personable, professional and confident invidivual. Hotel operations are 24 hours/7 days per week all year long. There are three shifts per day. Requirements include being articulate and able to converse well with guests, both in person and on the phone. Comfortable utilizing a PMS/POS software system. Strong writing skills, to communicate internally and with guests. Organized, self starter and great team player.

As an organization, we strive to collaborate and support each other. A set shift schedule is established and team work ensures if any team member is sick or not able to meet his/her shift, another team member will step in an assist.

Solvang CA is a beautiful Danish town located within the Santa Ynez Valley, just 35 miles north of Santa Barbara. In addition to the charm and warmth brought by Solvang due its Danish influence, the Santa Ynez Valley (SYV) itself has flourished. The SYV is known for its wineries and tasting rooms, as well as, majestic mountain range, rolling hills filled with oak trees and vines and pastures filled with horses and cattle.

Please note, the Inn's existing website is currently limited and a new website is in the process of being developed. We use ThinkReservations as our PMS system.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
