On their behalf, we are recruiting an Operations Supervisor, for fast setup and takedown of turnkey temporary power and HVAC services for national live big-ticket events.
Think international music and arts festivals, global superstar concerts, and professional sports games.

The roles are based out of the following cities, and you must live within a reasonable (40-minute drive) commute from Newark, NJ

The positions are full-time (40 hrs p/w).

THIS ROLE IS 50% OFFICE WORK AND 50% PHYSICAL SHOP WORK..
Overtime is consistent and often

Responsibilities:

  • Create schedules that cover all shifts
  • Responsible for monitoring company policies and enforcing them.
  • Report daily to the Branch Manager and advise regarding improvements for the department.
  • Respond to daily operational developments and emergencies.
  • Serve as a source of knowledge to both employees and customers.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work flexible and extended hours as needed
  • Must have a reliable smartphone
  • Must have availability to work weekends and holidays
  • H.S. diploma/GED required
  • Must have (2) years or more experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment
  • Must have (2) years direct supervisory/leadership experience
  • Exceptionally dependable, reliable, and punctual
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Highly detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Word, Excel, and Google Docs
  • Excellent communication skills for interactions with drivers, customers, Customer Service, Sales, and company staff
  • Experience in ordering trucks to move equipment to and from different locations.
  • Must be organized and be able to multitask while problem solving
  • Able to work in work in a fast paced, detail orientated environment
  • Strong ability to adapt to fast growing environment
  • Meet regularly with team members collectively, as well as on an individual basis to monitor progress towards meeting objectives, track performance, coach and counsel as well as recognizing team and individual successes

  • Responsible for implementation of health & safety and security initiatives, practices and behaviors and adherence to company rules and policies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
