We are currently hiring Operator for Swing shift (3:30pm - 12:00am)

Position Summary:

  • Performs ball and column attach using reflow ovens per applicable specifications
  • Performs pre-clean and post-clean operations per applicable specifications
  • Operators tape and reel equipment and trim/form presses
  • Safely handles solder, masking materials, and other chemicals
  • Performs first-article and in-process inspections
  • Follows all specifications and procedures accurately and efficiently
  • Capable of performing inspector responsibilities
  • Maintains high quality workmanship to meet specified goals
  • Maintains good housekeeping of equipment, workstations and other areas used
  • Presents problems or inefficiencies with a recommended solution to your supervisor
  • Participates in implementing efficiency improvements and solutions
  • Works assigned schedule including any mandatory overtime, and if possible, works requested overtime
  • Learns and operates new equipment as operations expand
  • Protects company proprietary information
  • Maintains and continuously improves competence by reading, training, and education
  • Carries out any other duties that may be assigned from time to time

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Some work experience required; experience in semiconductor or PCB industry preferred
  • Must be a US person (i.e. Citizen or Permanent Resident)
  • Speaking in English skills (fluent)
  • Reading literacy and comprehension in English: 12th grade level or above preferred
  • Writing in English skills: 8th grade level or above preferred
  • Math skills: 12th grade level or above needed
  • Follow directions accurately and efficiently
  • Computer literacy skills: Basic
  • Detail oriented; ability to perform repetitive tasks thoroughly and efficiently without error
  • Mechanically inclined is a plus
  • Microscope skills & experience is a plus
  • ESD knowledge is a plus
  • Basic chemical awareness is a plus
  • No physical sensitivities or limitations to chemicals handling

Physical Requirements:

  • Stand, lift, push, bend
  • 20/20 vision with or without corrective lenses
  • Hand/finger dexterity
