DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support and facilitate training scenario development and execution for Tactical Systems Operators (TSO) IAW requirements outlined in AFMAN11-2TSOv1 and TSO Qualification Training (QT) Syllabus of Instruction (SOI).
- Role play a variety of positions, to include: ground controller, ISR Tactical Controller (ITC), Ground Force Commander (GFC), and other air assets/platforms and ground combat elements.
- Conduct scenario development and execution.
- Direct less experienced personnel in their roles.
- Participate in crew brief/debrief. Provide inputs/critiques during debrief.
- Facilitate scenario progression IAW timelines, as directed by local standards, scenarios, or TSO instructor.
- Operate wide range of specialized equipment, including but not limited to:
- Ultra High Frequency (UHF)/Very High Frequency (VHF)/Frequency Modulation (FM) radios
- Global Positioning System (GPS) equipment
- Provide high tempo training support in austere locations, in inclement weather, under high stress conditions.
- Position may require irregular work hours.
- Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
