Steinhauer Family Eye Clinic is seeking a part time or full time Optometric Technician/Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. For over 40 years our thriving Optometry Practice has taken pride in providing precise and personalized eye care for people of all ages. We are looking for a professional who understands the importance of providing compassionate service to our patients.

Since we are a private practice with three Optometrists the applicant must be capable of a wide range of tasks and cross train to assist in optical and contact lens sales as well as pre testing patients. Helping to manage tasks at the front desk will also be required.

Full Job description:

*Pretest patients including medical history, intraocular pressures, retinal photos, and visual field testing/OCT.

*Assist in optical with basic adjustments and repairs. Help assist patients with frame selection when needed.

*Answer phone calls and scheduling appointments.

*Checking in and checking out of patients.

*Assist with contact lens sales and dispensing.

*Have a passion for outstanding patient care.

Applicants must have good communication and organization skills. Must also have the ability to manage time wisely in a fast paced environment. Work experience in the optical field is preferred. Schedule may be flexible, 25-40hrs/week. Pay negotiable with experience.
