Job description

A client in the IT solutions space based in the US is needing an Oracle Licensing Specialist. They deliver fresh solutions to business challenges in the technology and business services environment. Services available are application development, business process outsourcing, data services, and professional services.

As Oracle Licensing Specialist, you must be technical and can run scripts to determine usage.

• Coach and mentor other licensed business analysts
• Work with client teams to plan the delivery of the Oracle licensing plans/activities, including the Effective License Position (ELP)
• Lead and assist in the creation of optimization scenarios

We are looking for candidates who have:

• Proven experience with various Operating Systems (minimum Windows OS, UNIX is a plus)
• Fair understanding of how to work with Windows (Batch) command line (other OSs command line knowledge is a plus - UNIX, AIX, etc.)
• Full-time, long-term position supporting technology SW application licensing
• MUST have Oracle Licensing knowledge 3-5 yrs. experience (or more)
• Good understanding of Oracle Products, Product Groups and technologies
• Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise License Agreements and Policies
• Advance understanding of Oracle License Metrics (Core, CAL, Processor, etc.) and how they influence licensing
• A good understanding of the ITAM/SAM vocabulary and terms
• Good MS Excel skills •
• Understanding of relational databases (MS SQL, Oracle, Access, etc.) • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Organized
• Experience in working with international customers
• Understanding of auditing best practices and vocabulary
• Strong time management skills
• Communication skills in an international corporate environment
• Negotiation experience
• Project management experience

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
