Job Title: Outreach & Early Intervention Coordinator
Job Status: Full-time, salaried, non-exempt
Job Location: Bryan College Station (BCS)
Job Summary: Unbound Now BCS is working to end human trafficking through prevention education, community awareness, and professional training across the Brazos Valley.
The Outreach and Early Intervention Coordinator will oversee the Early Intervention and Outreach Programs. The Outreach and Early Intervention Coordinator will oversee the Early Intervention Specialist and foster relationships between juvenile services, probation, schools, and other organizations serving vulnerable youth to increase victim identification. Additionally, the Outreach and Early Intervention Coordinator will facilitate community outreaches, trainings, and professional trainings for the service area to increase collaboration and identification of often under-recognized and under-served populations.

DETAILS
Compensation: Annual salary
Benefits: Option of health insurance for employee and family, life insurance, and retirement plan (3% salary match after 90 days with 1-year vesting period)
Schedule/Availability: Generally, 8:30-5:30 Monday-Friday; occasional evenings and weekends
Working conditions: Work performed in a variety of venues and professional environments. Work duties may on rare occasions be performed in an environment requiring exposure to weather extremes, fumes, odors, and noise.
Travel: This position will require travel for outreach, intervention, and training. Travel will be reimbursed for this position throughout the Brazos Valley Region.
Job Responsibilities:
Early Intervention
- Replicate, enhance, and conduct outreach and education with high risk youth increasing awareness, explaining resources available, and creating a safe space for outcries.
- Launch and run the BCS office’s probation outreach to increase awareness and victim identification among individuals on probation.
- Supervise the BCS office Early Intervention Specialist and their cases.
- Supervise recruitment, screening, training, and assignment of volunteers and interns serving in the Outreach and Early Intervention Programs.
- Collaborate with Outreach and Early Intervention Director/Coordinator equivalents and Early Intervention Specialists at other Unbound Now locations to ensure project goals and timelines are achieved, and participate in monthly meetings.
- Collect and report performance measurement data from Early Intervention Specialists for grant reporting purposes, including overseeing and using case management software.
- Coordinate efforts with the Director of Programs to ensure any clear concern trafficking victims receive appropriate services.
- Monitor for red-flag or inappropriate behaviors and/or policy violations.
- Respond appropriately to allegations of abuse, including youth-to-youth sexual activity.
Outreach
- Foster existing relationships with providers who serve vulnerable youth and build new relationships with additional partners.
- Conduct community and professional trainings, including scheduling and coordinating volunteers.
- Coordinate community engagement and outreach activities, such as resource tables, for increased community awareness and identification.
- Develop and conduct targeted outreach opportunities in partnership with Task Force Coordinator and Director of Programs to under-recognized and under-served populations including males, victims of labor trafficking, rural communities, and individuals identifying as LGBTQ+.
- Maintain all presentations, curricula, data collection, and documentation for training and prevention programs and submit required documentation for continuing education credits and other reporting.
- Update presentations, curricula, and print materials with evidence-based, data-driven information in compliance with grant requirements.
- Collect data points for outreach activities for general and grant related reporting in accordance with established office procedures.
Other
- Participate in ongoing professional development.

- Submit expense documentation properly and within required timeframes.
- Submit eligible mileage for reimbursement properly and within required timeframes.

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience and Education
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in social work, child development, or related field
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and manage people and programs
- Minimum of three years experience working with youth and diverse populations
Job Requirements:
- Three references, (supervisor, professional, personal)
- Agree to and pass all required criminal background checks, including DFPS criminal history check and abuse and neglect registry check
- Pass employment eligibility verification
- Willingness to use personal vehicle for work travel; valid driver’s license; reliable vehicle; current car insurance
