Job Description:

The Outside Sales Representative position is a mid to entry level opportunity with aggressive compensation. For the right individual, this role can lead to growth within the company with future opportunities for advancement including new equipment sales, sales management, trailer leasing and rentals, heavy duty service and leadership.

Essential Job Functions:

• Daily in person sales calls in existing territory
• Cold calls and development of new business
• Track and understand overall sales and customer trends
• Use of catalogs and parts manuals to identify and sell heavy duty trailer and truck parts
• Advise customers in selection of products and their uses
• Effectively communicate features and benefits of products
• Operate the point-of-sale business system
• Continually grow product and application knowledge of product essential to the heavy-duty vehicle aftermarket
• Make sales calls on multiple market segments including retail, installation, and fleet customers

Qualifications:

• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service
• Driven to achieve goals
• Must be an excellent communicator
• Must be able to multitask
• Experience in heavy duty parts preferred but not required-very willing to train the right individual
• Basic computer and math skills
• College education preferred but not required
• Candidates must be able to pass a background check, drug test and/or MVR check, as applicable for the role
