Overview:Sierra Lobo, offers customers a full range of professional and technical capabilities, including Test and Evaluation, Systems Engineering, and Advanced Technologies. We also develop products and processes related to Cryogenic Fluid and Thermal Management Systems, Densified Propellant Management Systems, and Prototype Extreme Pressure and Temperature Systems. Our customers include the Department of Defense (DoD), the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
This position will be located at NASA’s White Sands Test Facility in the Materials and Compenents Testing Laboratories Department.

Responsibilities:
Will support the MT2 Oxygen group performing particle impact testing and post-test investigation as needed, as well as providing general support to the MT4 Metallurgy Laboratory and assist in projects/investigations as needed. Prior knowledge of the White Sands Test Facility Laboratories procedures and processes is required to be a productive contributor in an intermittent role.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering is required. A higher degree in Material Science, completed or in progress, is a plus
