Professional Group Leader
The Professional Group Leader will be responsible for the Professional P&L’s business strategy for contingent workforce solutions. The Professional Group Leader will build, coach to, and execute the P&L’s business plan while representing our Outside-In® culture, values, and core purpose. The Placers Professional Group Leader will be responsible for leading the P&L’s team members, maintaining customer relationships, ensuring growth in accounts, fulfilling revenue and gross margin objectives, and other financial and operational KPIs as determined.

Key Accountabilities:
The Placers Professional Group Leader is responsible for leading the effective operations of all Professional business lines including future expansion plans. This includes overall responsibility in the following areas:
Business and Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute a one-page business plan for Placers Professional P&L including revenues, gross profit, expenses, budgets and staff headcount
- Learn and monitor marketplace trends relative to service line, business expansion, and workforce and hiring
- Plan and set the strategic direction of the marketplace focus for the Professional P&L’s growth
- Engage in the marketing strategy development for the Professional business line
- Prepare quarterly and annual forecasts for projected sales, gross profit, and net profit in partnership with other senior leaders
- Negotiate and secure profitable pricing structures to ensure a proper gross profit margin
- Expand business through new or existing account development
- Negotiate business terms of contracts to ensure alignment with Placers business strategy and process
- Gather pertinent information that allows Placers to determine client needs and present a consultative solution tailored to each individual client's need
- Direct and lead client development activities to ensure good business relationships
- Support Placers commitment to continuous improvement, data integrity, and front door communication
- Drive recruitment strategy for the team by evaluating and tailoring recruitment processes and techniques to attract qualified candidates
Team Development:
- Effectively manage and oversee the selection, compensation, training and development, and ongoing success of all staff supporting the team to train, coach, and develop Placers Professional P&L team members to customize innovative and efficient ways to drive individual and team results
- Develop, track and analyze individual and team operational KPIs and quarterly goals
- Engage the team to participate in a culture of Nth degree service and collaboration
- Provide the team with meaningful insights and coaching to improve processes and techniques related to relationship building, recruitment, client engagement, and other activities that drive business results
- Provide overall direction to the team for business development, account management, and the recruitment and retention of candidates
Customer Experience:
- Monitor and maintain company quality standards through Net Promotor Score surveys for both client and candidates experiences
- Develop and innovate leveraging Outside-In® Culture, Purpose, and overall strategy
- Provide exceptional “above and beyond” service for our customers
- Willingness to go the “extra mile” at the end and do that little something extra to provide the “wow factor”
- Collect and share Outside-In® success stories
- Explore and innovate new programs that add value and differentiate our brand promise in the marketplace
- Exceed communication expectations through proactive and timely engagement
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalency in work experience or education required
- Minimum of 5 years of staffing industry experience required
- Staffing Industry Certifications preferred
- Experience in running a successful P&L line of business
- Proven ability to influence, coach, and mentor others in a leadership role required
- Ability to learn and be hands-on with current business tools and technology (ATS, CRM, HR databases)
- Willingness to travel regionally and nationally as needed
- Strong decision-making skills
- Ability to produce results within an autonomous environment, within company guidelines, and have the flexibility to identify and respond to changes in priorities
