Physician Assistant – General Surgery – Farmville, VA
Centra Medical Group
Centra Medical Group is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our growing group of diverse and passionate caregivers in general surgery.
Position Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Board certified
- Current PA licensure in Virginia or willing to obtain
- Surgical PA experience; wound care experience desired
Position Details:
- Mix of office and OR time; hospital rounding
- Bread and butter general surgery cases, mostly laparoscopic - with opportunity for more complex cases

Our Healthcare System
Centra Medical Group (CMG) is physician-led and comprised of 500+ physicians and advanced practice providers and serves 250,000 central and southern Virginians. Centra Healthcare System offers an integrated healthcare system, including 4 hospitals, 60+ physician practices, including primary care, medical and surgical specialists.
Centra Southside Community Hospital is a full-service 116 bed medical facility with special emphasis on outpatient surgery, emergency department, obstetrics, general medicine, & surgical services. Southside sees over 4k admissions per year and sees more than 22k patients through the emergency department per year.
Farmville Community
Farmville is a vibrant and growing small town located in the heart of Virginia.
