Job Title: Packaging & Assembly (P&A) Operator
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Hours Required: 40+
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Job Summary
The P&A Operator is responsible for the assembly and packaging of organizational products.
Major Responsibilities
- Assembles and packages organizational products as per company guidelines.
- Inspects, trims finished product as it comes off the production line.
- Completes daily product production paperwork as required.
- Cleans (sweeping, removing labels from floor) workstation area and maintains overall cleanliness of general work area before shift end.
- Supports all company policies as related to safety and manufacturing.
- Adheres to all Safety guidelines including but not limited to wearing of proper PPE.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned
Skills Required
- High school Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to detect defective product based on work instructions and supplied good product samples.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work various hand tools (plastic clippers, etc.)
- Ability to read and write.
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to stand and walk around for extended periods of time.
- Ability to continuously stacking product above head.
