Job Summary

This position is responsible for following quality standards, inspecting pipe coatings and finishing before releasing it to the customer and completing paperwork validating each piece.

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities include using industrial paint equipment on ductile iron pipe and pipe products, preparing the completed product for shipment, and ensuring high quality control standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• 2- 5 years of INDUSTRIAL painting experience is highly preferred.
• Working indoors and outdoors year round in all weather conditions is required.
• Must be familiar with industrial paint processes.
• Experience with protective coatings is a major plus.
• Must have basic mathematical skills with the ability to learn to read and understand a tape measure.
• Forklift Certification is desired.
• Must be willing to operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner with the ability to obtain a certification.
• Willingness to understand painting processes, with strong focus on quality and appearance of product.
• Team player possessing a willingness to work well with team members, focus on making the team successful in meeting both short and long term objectives.
• Must be able to quickly and properly follow any and all directions.
• Must be able to follow all established company safety and facility rules, as well as OSHA requirements, must adhere to these rules at all times.
• Previous history of consistent attendance and punctuality. Will be expected to get to work on time, each and every day.
