Parking Attendant
Attendant serves as a convenience for the patrons of La Margarita and all La
Familia Cortez Restaurants located in the Market Square. The Parking Attendant
is responsible for operating and managing the fee collection process and
assists in the maintenance of the lot. The right candidate must possess a high
level of professionalism and courteous manner while complying with the policies
and procedures in accordance with La Familia Cortez Mission Statement and
Credo.
Responsibilities
- Arrive to work 5 minutes prior to the scheduled shift time in uniform to allow time to
clock in before logging into the Cash Register system in the parking booth. - Provide courteous, respectful and professional customer service to all parking patrons.
- Comply with the written Cashier Procedures and account for all transactions properly
and in accordance with the prepared procedures. - Receive,verify, and account for monies, parking tickets and daily audit logs.
- Completes reports or forms required by department.
- Deliver and secure cash deposit at Audit Office.
- Report any issues or complaints to Management.
- Responsible in immediately communicate any exceptions/discrepancies to Audit personnel or
Management. - Maintain the parking booth facilities and equipment in a clean, organized, and
professional manner.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of general parking practices and procedures.
- Basic math Skills.
- Ability to provide courteous communication with public.
- Experienced in the exchange of coins and currency.
- Bilingual a plus.
