JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our part-time Sylvan ACT/SAT Instructors will be trained on the Sylvan college readiness curriculum and given the tools to teach in a small group.

As a successful Instructor, you will:

Deliver Quality Education:

· Instructor must teach test-prep skills and strategies

· Supervise, interact with, and motivate students during instruction while working on lessons that adapt to the student's skill and pace, making learning challenging and fun, never frustrating.

· Provide students with instant feedback and recognition.

· Evaluate and document student progress.

Inspire Students:

· Develop rapport with students and establish a fun learning environment.

· Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching at Sylvan.

We require:

· Bachelor's degree

·Work with a flexible schedule

· $15/hour depending on experience

· Flexible shifts Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., or Saturday, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

· Focus on making a difference, our directors handle all scheduling, payments, conferences, and planning
