Job description
Harrisburg University of Science and Technology is seeking applicants for multiple part-time/ adjunct faculty to teach a wide range of undergraduate Mathematics courses for the upcoming Fall 2023 semester and beyond. Candidates should be dedicated to student-centered undergraduate teaching and should be committed to supporting the academic success of students from diverse backgrounds. Teaching is appointed on a per semester basis. Responsibilities include course readiness and teaching 3 to 9 credits per semester.
Specific course needs are as follows:-
Prealgebra
College Algebra
Applied Mathematical Reasoning
Discrete Math I
Introductory Statistics
Calculus I
Introduction to Linear Algebra
Requires a master’s degree in Mathematics or in a related field. Prior classroom teaching experience highly desirable.
