Job description

Responsible for the distribution of accurate F&B cash tills to all cashiers at the beginning of their shift and ensuring that all paperwork is completed by the cashiers as well as all cashiers sign out the individual tills.

Responsible to ensure all F&B cashiers at each location during events have sufficient change for their individual tills.

Responsible for a change bank that allows change to be made at each location ensuring both the individual tills and change bank is kept in balance through the shift.

Responsible for ensuring the cashiers are adhering to closing and cash handling procedures as agreed upon by the department and finance group.

Review all cash bags from F&B cashiers that have been counted, validating that the amounts recorded by the cashiers are accurate, that the appropriate funds have been returned to the working fund, and that all cash, credit slips and coupons are in place and properly handled.

Responsible for ensuring all sales and monies collected reporting is completed in the system provided, adhering to company procedures for cash reporting, that all entries are double-checked for accuracy, and that the cashiers sign-off on their reports as required.

Following the count-down process, ensure each working fund is returned to the appropriate denominations to start the next shift and verification with a Manager that the F&B bank is in balance at the end of each event.

Assists with creating a change order to ensure proper amounts of cash are available for each event for F&B Department.

Prepare the nightly deposit with the MOD and ensure it is properly recorded and dropped for pick up.

Responsible for verifying and sorting change orders that come from the bank, breaking down large amounts of bills into the proper counts required for use by cashiers.

Education

High School Education or Equivalent is required

Experience

1-2 years of Cash Handling experience
