Job description

We are looking for outgoing, professional, and energetic Night Auditors who will be the first people to greet our guests when they arrive at our hotel. This position is responsible for providing superior guest satisfaction while attending to guest needs such as but not limited to:

-check in, check outs (individual or group reservation)

-making, canceling, changing reservations via Skytouch or Synxis PMS

-being aware of brand standards

-answering guest questions and needs (recommending local attractions and restaurants, being knowledgeable of your city)

-processing guest registrations including collecting payment

-complete shifts reports

-respond to guest needs, special requests and complaints in a timely manner. Alerting the Front Desk Manager of potential issues.

-Be a team player! Assisting other team members in various assignments such as operating the shuttle, assisting with breakfast, laundry or housekeeping duties.

-excellent phone manners

-maintain and clean the working area, the lobby and bathroom as needed

-opportunities to earn commissions on top of your wages

Qualifications

-Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent

-Must be able to work evening, weekends and/or holidays

-Must be able to stand for long periods of time

-Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs and carry up to 10 lbs

-Must have sound judgement and discretionary skills and be able to work with little or no supervision

-Must be computer savvy, quick learner (will train on hotel's management system)

-Must be proficient in the use of common Windows-based computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel

-Must be able to operate basic office machines, copier, fax, printer

-Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-Customer Service Experience in hotel industry strongly preferred min 1 year

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
