If yes, then you’re a great candidate for a role as a Ramp Agent with United Ground Express, a subsidiary of United Airlines.
As part of our ramp crew, you will work diligently to ensure that all aircrafts are ready for flight by providing efficient ground support services and operating ground servicing and support equipment.
Working on the Ramp
You will be working outside year-round in all kinds of weather.
Plenty of physical activity, as you will be loading and unloading aircraft with as many as 100 bags per flight, some weighing as much as 70 lbs.

What will my schedule look like?
This is a union position based on seniority. You will be assigned your initial schedule and will then have the opportunity to make a bid for your desired shift after your initial schedule period ends.
You may be required to work mandatory overtime based on operational need.
You must be able to work during day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Punctuality and reliability are essential, you must be dependable.
As you gain seniority, you can trade days with colleagues, pick up extra hours, and have more control over your schedule.
UGE requirements
Minimum of 18 years old
Excellent communication skills
Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
Eligibility to obtain necessary credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal Service) per local requirements
Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Must possess a valid state issued driver’s license
ADA Specifications
Ability to operate a computer to enter and retrieve data
Ability to lift up to 70lbs on a consistent basis
Ability to pass all pre-screening clearances (including a background check, hearing and vision tests, and drug screen)
