We have an immediate opening for a Part Time Storage Associate to assist in thee day to day operation of the self-storage facility including keeping the property clean, performing light landscaping, providing tours of the property, renting units, selling tenant insurance and other retail supplies. **This is a part time position for this location**
COMPENSATION AS A PART TIME STORAGE ASSOCIATE:

RESPONSIBILITIES AS A PART TIME SELF STORAGE ASSOCIATE:
- Renting storage spaces based on customers’ needs using strong sales strategies
- Assisting with moving boats in and out of storage
- Propane dispensing
- Providing excellent service and building excellent rapport with new and existing customers
- Accepting payments and completing daily bank deposits
- Keeping the property and office clean and tidy, walking around the property performing lock checks and showing the units to customers
- Physical requirements of the job include daily walks of the property, cleaning the units and the property, opening and closing the storage doors (up to 50 lbs.), and similar light activities
- Other general office duties
- On call for emergency maintenance as needed and must be available by cell phone.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Willingness to work respectfully with people of diverse backgrounds
- 2-3 years of managerial experience
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Professional presentation
- Must have a flexible schedule with weekend availability
- Ability to solve problems involving: residents, personnel, finances, equipment/ maintenance issues, emergency situations, etc.
- Willing to learn and a drive to improve community/asset
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds is required
- Valid driver's license and clean background required in order to complete daily bank deposits
- The Self Storage Facility Manager must be able to offer exceptional customer service both in person and on the phone. The ideal candidate for this position will have an entrepreneurial spirit, strong sales skills and a drive to help the facility/asset succeed! This position also assists with cleanup of the property and light yard work as needed.
